Shannon is the Research Lead at the Shrimp Welfare Project. Prior to this role, she was the Global Animal Welfare Specialist for Aquaculture at The Humane League and the Aquaculture Welfare Specialist for Global Animal Partnership, where she created G.A.P.'s first animal welfare standard for farmed Atlantic salmon.

Shannon is passionate about improving the lives of aquatic animals and finding equitable, sustainable solutions for the challenges faced by people and all life underwater.
